Founded in 1894, Pomfret is an independent, coeducational college preparatory school for 350 students in grades 9-12. Located in Northeastern Connecticut, Pomfret offers a rich and rewarding experience for students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Through a rigorous and engaging education, a commitment to service beyond self, and numerous opportunities for personal growth in academic, athletic, artistic, and residential settings, students emerge as ethical and active citizens of the world.

Jaques & Company was retained by the school in spring of 2011. Company President Bill Jaques and Company Consultant Andrea Stewart are conducting an audit of Pomfret's Annual Fund and Major Gifts programs; Bill is also advising Director of Development Joe Kremer and his staff, incoming Head of School Tim Richards, and the trustees on early preparations for a new campaign.
