Bill Jaques, President and Principal

Bill is beginning his fourth decade of service to the non-profit community, incorporating a wealth of institutional, consulting, and volunteer experience that benefits every Company client.
Following a few years of elementary school teaching, Bill began his development career as Associate Director of Development at St. Mark’s School (Southborough, MA). He became Director of Development at Noble & Greenough School (Dedham, MA) and then served as Senior Development Officer, Intra-University Consultant, and Director of Major Gifts at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA) before founding Jaques & Company in 1987. Originally conceived as a development consulting firm, the Company has diversified its services to offer assistance with strategic planning, development, governance, and financial strategy and practices. Bill is the firm’s Development practice leader. He is a member of the Association of Fund-Raising Professionals (AFP) and is a frequent speaker at CASE, AISNE, AFP and other conferences.
Bill received his B.A. from Harvard University with a concentration in U. S. history and minor concentrations in art history and English.
Bill is an active community volunteer. He has served as pro bono development consultant; 1969 Class Committee Member at Harvard; Class Agent at St. Mark’s School; Firefighter, Town of Wenham, MA Fire Department; Development Committee Member, Essex County Community Foundation (MA); Trustee, Brookwood School (Manchester, MA) and President ’95-’99; and Coach of Hamilton-Wenham Youth Soccer (MA).

Lisa J. Boudreau, Consultant

Lisa Boudreau comes to Jaques & Company with fifteen years of professional development experience. She has in-depth campaign, annual fund, and major gift experience in a variety of sophisticated settings, combined with extensive program and personnel management responsibility.
Lisa began her career as Assistant and then Associate Director of the Annual Fund at Connecticut College (New London, CT). After nearly four years there, she initiated a ten-year commitment to Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences (Cambridge, MA), as Associate Director of the Harvard College Fund. Successively she served as Major Gift Officer, as Director of Development and Corporate Relations for the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and as Managing Director of the Harvard College Fund. In a one-year hiatus from Harvard, Lisa lived in London and served as Head of Individual Giving at the London School of Economics (London, UK).
Lisa’s tenure at Harvard includes a number of highlights. She participated in the University’s successful $2.6 billion campaign, managing a campaign committee that exceeded its $200 million goal for undergraduate financial aid. She worked with Harvard’s president and two academic deans in securing a $10 million gift from a foundation to establish a new institute for bionanoscience. In her role as Managing Director of the Harvard College Fund, Lisa led a 25-person staff in raising $21- million.
Lisa has a BA from Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA) in sociology. She has served in a number of volunteer roles at Bucknell, including as a member of the Bucknell Alumni Association, as co-chair of Bucknell’s young alumni leadership gifts committee, an alumni admissions representative, and as a class gift co-chair and committee member. Currently she serves on the board of Notre Dame Children’s Class (Wenham, MA). She is a 1996 recipient of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Rising Star award and has led fundraising training sessions at CASE and Women in Development.

Andrea C. Stewart, Consultant

Andrea joined Jaques & Company in 2006, following 10 years in educational fund-raising at private institutions.
After a brief stint in marketing, Andrea began her development career at The Fessenden School (Newton, MA) in the Office of Institutional Advancement, working in the annual fund, on a building campaign, and as liaison to the Parents Association and to the Board of Trustees. She then spent six years at Harvard Law School (Cambridge, MA), serving first as Assistant, then Associate Director of the annual fund before becoming Director of the Law School’s $7.2 million annual fund in 2001. She also served as Associate Director of Leadership Gifts during her tenure at HLS. Before joining Jaques & Company, Andrea worked for the Northeast Health Foundation (Beverly, MA) as a Senior Major Gifts Officer.
In addition to her professional positions, Andrea has a long-standing career in volunteer roles. A member of Women in Development of Greater Boston (WID) for ten years, she served on the WID board and Co-Chaired its programming committee. An alumna of the University of Vermont (Burlington, VT), Andrea holds a B.A. in English and was the 1999 recipient of UVM’s Outstanding Young Alumni award. As a volunteer for UVM, Andrea has served in numerous capacities, including as an Admissions representative, Annual Fund volunteer, Reunion Co-Chair, Boston Events Committee Chair, and member of UVM’s Boston Regional Board.
While working at Harvard Law School, Andrea earned a Master’s degree in Education at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, with a concentration in Administration, Planning and Social Policy.

Beverly J. Jaques, Consultant

Beverly Jaques, Company Consultant, returns to Jaques & Company, after fifteen years of development work at Harvard University, Brookwood School, and Noble & Greenough School. She is directing the marketing efforts for the Company as well as interviewing for feasibility studies.
As a former teacher, development officer and parent volunteer, Beverly has a strong interest and understanding of educational institutions, both independent schools and higher education and has worked with Boards at all levels: trustee leadership and volunteer committees, members of Harvard’s Board of Overseers, and other high-level entities.
As an outgoing spokesperson for the institutions she has represented, Beverly has engaged in positive interpersonal relationships with donors and colleagues and has gained broad experience in all aspects of development, including annual and capital fund-raising, prospect development, volunteer management, reunion and program planning, communications, public relations, events planning, and staff management.

Sandy Warner, Operations Manager

Sandy joined Jaques & Company in 1995 and is the "glue" that keeps us together. With her extensive experience in business administration, technology management, organization, and customer service, she enables the Company to run smoothly and keep clients, consultants, and other staff in constant contact.
Sandy works directly with the President, Consultants, Clients and Staff. She oversees day to day operations as well as providing support with feasibility studies, development program audits, report preparation, presentation development and design, training sessions, and board meetings.
Sandy is also the friendly and cheerful voice you hear when you call our office and is happy to assist you.
