Having recently celebrated its Centennial, Berkshire School (372 students, boarding & day, Grades 9-12) is quietly moving along with nucleus fund-raising for a campaign that may seek as much as $200 million. Two important, initial construction projects have been completed: a total renovation of the school’s primary academic building, Berkshire Hall, and a dazzling new athletic complex. Jaques & Company completed a development program audit in 2006 and has been of counsel since January 2007, working with Head of School Mike Maher and Director of Development John Ormiston and his staff on campaign planning, nucleus fund-raising, and other aspects of the Berkshire development enterprise. Company President Bill Jaques is serving as lead counsel.
