For nearly fifty years, Essex County Greenbelt has served with distinction as the regional land trust in one of America’s most beautiful and environmentally sensitive coastal areas. Through its land conservation initiatives, land stewardship activities, and programs and events, Greenbelt fulfills its mission to “…protect the integrity of ecological systems, maintain a base of local agriculture, and preserve scenic vistas.” Jaques & Company became Greenbelt’s strategic partner in 2009 to help the organization expand its land conservation and stewardship capacity and implement its new strategic plan. Company President Bill Jaques is providing guidance to Executive Director Ed Becker, Director of Development Julie Towne, and the Trustee Development Committee.
