"With the excellent guidance and foresight of Jaques & Company, the Manchester Essex Regional School District was able to establish a new development program to coordinate the District's current and future friend-raising and fund-raising activities. The program initiatives include community education and outreach, fund-raising, and communications. Bill helped us select a District Development Officer to direct the program, with oversight provided by a volunteer Development Task Force that was been appointed by the School Committee. As it approached its tenth year as a regional entity and was completing a dazzling new High School and Middle School complex, the Manchester Essex Regional School District (MERSD) reached out to Jaques & Company to develop a new strategy for its development initiatives. Working with School Committee Chair Susan Beckmann and a volunteer Development Task Force, Company President Bill Jaques helped MERSD to conceive district-wide development program goals, strategy, and an operational plan, taking into account the ongoing efforts of existing school fund-raising entities. JCo also provided guidance in crafting a job description and recruitment process for MERSD’s first-ever development officer.
