Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA

Montserrat College of Art is a private residential college of the visual arts offering the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and four-year professional diploma. Founded in 1970, the college also offers year-round continuing education and high school art programs, and has several galleries exhibiting the works and offering cultural programming with national, regional and local contemporary artists. The college's hallmark is its low faculty-student ratio creating an intimate, mentoring learning environment.

In 2008-2009, Company Consultant Andrea Stewart and Company President Bill Jaques worked closely with then College President Helena Sturnick and the Campaign Steering Committee as Montserrat undertook an $8 million campaign for the construction of a four-building residential complex that will significantly strengthen the College. Our work was focused on refining the case for support, building strong volunteer leadership, developing strategies for cultivation and solicitation of major gift prospects, and creating a new plan for overall development programming.
