The Jaques – Nobles relationship goes back to the late 1970’s/early 1980’s, when Bill Jaques was the school’s Director of Development. Twenty years later, the Company was retained by Nobles to advise on the formation of a stunningly ambitious new campaign, OneNOBLES ($86M goal). Working with then Director of Development Jeff Berndt and his staff, Head of School Bob Henderson, and the trustees, the Company advised on all aspects of pre-campaign preparation, conducted a feasibility study, and served as counsel throughout the program. Of note was the successful use of carefully targeted challenges to stimulate giving to the four core campaign objectives, and the dramatic ascent of the Annual Nobles Fund, which grew at a rate of 12% per annum during the campaign and which now provides 14% of Nobles’ operating revenue. The Company commends Nobles on its more than thirty-year commitment to continuous, intensive improvement in philanthropic support for people and program, facilities, and long-term financial stability.
